The first image is Flipnfool.com. I created this from a template I found on the web, customized the color schemes and fonts, then brought it into Flash for a little more graphical appeal.

This site is home to Andy Young, Pro Angler. The site incorporates the use of Flash, Photoshop, After Effects, as well as accordion windows for displaying his rankings and tournament placings, mp3 audio from a live KFAN interview, and a special golden nugget biography with voice over by Mei Young.

The second is Rice Street Music Memorabilia, a locally owned and operated music store in St. Paul, Minnesota. Owner operator Charles Ritt, decided that in order to succeed in the world of music sales on the local independant level, that he would need a website to sell his wares from.

At this time inventory is still being entered into the database for the website so it is not fully functional yet.

I created this site with a Drupal Core and made some minor adjustments to the layout and look of the contributed theme. The shop runs Ubercart, a shopping cart system developed for Drupal, Joomla and other CMS websites. It allows shipment through any postal or package carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx and others), as well as payment of most types (i.e. eCheck, Google Checkout, Paypal, Credit Cards, and others).

The third site is a non-profit organization here in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN that has been around for a number of years now. I started out this project maintaining the website that was in place, and decided to redesign the whole thing. The reason for this was for ease of navigation and easily updateable content.

This site is not in production because of some database issues that came forward during the migration to production. This site utilizes the Drupal content management system, RSS feeds, MySQL database, and other technologies.

The next site is one that I developed, designed, and maintained all on my own over the course of about 4 years. This site is what got me where I am today. It is because of RadioHomegrown.com that my love for web design and development flourished.

When I took over this site, the locally produced radio show Homegrown was on the air on KQ92. The site that was given to me had a fairly complex content management system in place, however, I needed more than what I was given to let my creativity abound. I asked for a web site that I could have complete control and manipulation over.

The first design of this site was all greens and browns with some yellows mixed in. The reason for this was becuase it was on KQ and those were the colors that we wanted to associate with the site. Also, having the name Homegrown, we wanted to keep the theme in line with farming, silage and natural colors.

A few years later the show was moved from Midnight Sunday nights on KQ to 10pm Sunday nights on Drive105. This prompted another theme and style change to what you see above excluding the top banner. When Drive105 switched formats to become Love105 there was no more fit on the air for Homegrown and the show was cancelled. Now being that the show had died, I thought it fitting to change the top banner from what it was, to what you see above.

The site incorporated all sorts of different media, which included digital music and sound bytes, image galleries, slideshows, an RSS podcast of each week's show, and finally some flash thrown in here and there.

Pack 217 is my son's cub scout troop. When he and I signed on with the pack their site was lack luster and not anywhere near useful. I revamped their site, adding an event calendar, and implented a Drupal content management system allowing the pack leaders to update the site on their own with no outside help.

This site can be viewed at www.pack217.org

The last two sites were sites that I was in the process of building for some clients when they ran out of funding. The jobs were then cancelled, but at least I have something for my portfolio.

The first of the two is First Lutheran Church. Was designed from a template in flash and tweaked to meet the needs and wants of the church. The purpose of this site was to provide information about the church to the general public.

The second is Bay Lake Camp, the churches youth summer camp. This was designed and developed completely from scratch. This is a completely Flash based site. The site was in the works to have a complete booking system, so that visitors could book accomodations online.
